I'm a photo contest finalist (twice)

I recently received word that two of my photographs are finalists in a Country Magazine's 2016 Rural Photography Contest. Country Magazine, which is published by Reader's Digest, has a photo contest every year where photographers can enter photos in one of four categories: animals, scenery, people, and kids. I am fortunate to be one of four semi-finalists in the "scenery" category with my photograph of rolling hills in the Palouse region of rural Washington. You can see it and the other three photos I am competing against HERE. Also I am one of four semi-finalists in the "people" category with my photo of a cowboy riding his horse in the rain near Lloyd, Montana. You can see both of my semi-finalist photos below.

Sometime soon I will be notified me if any of my two photos are winners of their respective categories. If so, then later in the year I will be notified if I am the grand prize winner of the photo contest. We'll see.
