I was recently hired to photograph ranchers on a cattle drive on the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation for Wild Sky Beef, a for-profit company that buys and sells high-quality beef where ranchers modify operations in accordance with their biodiversity goals. Closely associated with American Prairie Preserve, ranches associated with Wild Sky Beef actively ensure their beef contribute to the environment and help preserve wildlife.
The photos of Native American cowboys and cowgirls will be used for a variety of different marketing needs, but they were also published recently in PERC Reports magazine. Below are a few of those published photos, including one used in a two-page spread. It is one more example of my ranch photography being published to tell a story about the hard working ranchers in America.
