Curious cows are easily entertained

A young woman is surrounded by a herd of curious Holstein cows on a dairy farm near Connell, Washington.

They always say in photography, when you are done making the photo turn around 180 degrees and take a photo of what you see. And more often than not that is sound advice because almost always you will find something interesting to photograph. This was especially true recently on an agricultural photo shoot for a client in Washington.

While we were focused on making photos of farmers standing in the middle of a wheat field we turned around and saw a young woman named Kaitlyn (who works for the client) sitting near a herd of very curious cows. They formed a semi-circle around Kaitlyn and focused all of their energy and attention her way. It was a wonderful scene worth of making a photo and I am glad I did.
