One of the things I like about winter here in north central Montana is hoarfrost. When cold bank of fog rolls through, which occurs frequently in the foothills of the mountains, frost will cling to anything in its path. This particular photograph was shot north of the Bear Paw Mountains near Havre. It really reminds you that Christmas is near.
